Newton homeowners had constant problems in rainstorms. Water from the driveway and a nearby downspout ran into the garage. To mitigate the excess water, the downspout was directed into a drain basin and directed underground into a later percolation pipe. Driveway runoff was caught by a channel drain installed in front of the garage and directed into a drywell in the middle of the backyard. The dry well will allow for subsurface water infiltration.
