This homeowner wanted help in removing and replacing an aging retaining wall.  This was a client-assisted project.  We did a complete removal of the old wall, excavated for a new base.  The new wall base was compacted before building the new wall from 6×6 pressure-treated timbers.  In addition, drainage was added behind the wall, to allow hydrostatic pressure to dissipate. This wall will last about 30 years.
