A Salem client wanted to create a unique patio using found materials.  However he needed help in creating a foundation that was firm and pitched to shed water.  The area in his backyard was excavated, then a thick layer of stone dust was brought in and compacted.  After compaction, the surface was pitched and screeded, leaving a surface ready for the homeowner to create the patio he wanted. A small retaining wall and steps were also added.
